We have all been given special gifts with which to serve God and His people. Through the various small groups within CLC, our congregational members are welcomed and encouraged to invest their time and talents to serve where they feel called. If you feel the ‘call’ to serve, contact us at christlutheranduluth@yahoo.com.

The Garden Club is a new group that is starting at Christ Lutheran Church. We are currently looking for members, any age, guys or gals, all that is needed is a willingness to put in a few hours a month. The Garden Club will work with the Esther Circle in caring for the garden areas of the church and parish house properties. For more information or to join us, please contact Sandy Carlson at 723-1653 or skcarlson@charter.net.
This group is responsible for caring for the altar, pulpit and lecturn, which includes the paraments, candles, plants or flowers and the communion ware. The Altar Guild consists of two chairpersons. Two or more members serve together each month.
Committee_Members_2010In 1997 a small group of women had a vision of hosting an event that would strengthenfather/daughter relationships. This was the start of the "Annual Father/Daughter Ball". This event brings fathers and daughters together for a night of dinner and dancing. Many men and women of various ages volunteer their time to assist in this wholesome event. It provides a wonderful opportunity for you to be creative and supportive of our Christian outreach. For further information visit our website at http://www.fatherdaughterballduluth.org
sunshine1_140x105This group spreads warmth and sunshine in all that they do. It is through their efforts that we are able to enjoy the wonderful Christmas cookies during the holiday season and also the homemade pasties which are made many times throughout the year. It is thanks to their fundraising efforts that many of our church projects have been completed.

Our choir is made up of a wonderful group of men and women and features 4-part harmony (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) who just love to sing! They not only praise our Lord with their singing each Sunday during the school year, but they also treat us to special music at Christmas and Easter. If you love to sing, come join them. They generally meet every Sunday morning at 8:15.
These musicians enjoy making a "joyful noise" to the Lord every Sunday during our Praise time and also during the service. The music provided includes traditional as well as contemporary songs and makes use of the keyboard, piano, guitar, bongo drums and flute.
Our church library was started in May, 1967 and today holds more than 3000 books, including books for children and teens, adult fiction and nonfiction, and devotionals. There is also a selection of videos for all ages. The system is fully computerized for ease of convenience.
